Raymond "NastyRay" Mora: dance

Link: Work

Raymond ‘NastyRay’ Mora was inspired to dance at the age of 13, when he first saw some local b-boys performing at his middle school dance. As soon as his mother noticed this newfound interest, she enrolled him in breaking classes that only added fuel to the already growing fire.

In the years that followed, NastyRay ventured from hometown San Jose, California, to travel the world to compete, judge, teach, and work commercially in all things dance. He has worked with Justin Bieber, performing in the 2010 MTV Music Video Awards, as well as the Justin Bieber 3D Never Say Never tour. That same year, NastyRay was also on the Step Up 3D Live Show, and in the year that followed, he performed on Fox Network’s So You Think You Can Dance.

Presently, NastyRay continues to fill his passport through dance, all the while inspiring youth through an educational arts program he helped initiate called FutureArtsNow! His clothing line, 1nspirationIsFree, is another creative outlet in which he dedicates his time spreading positive messages through the fashion medium.

NastyRay has been teaching for 9 years. At the age of 19, he taught his first class at an after school program, now known as Future Arts Now! Currently, he teaches weekly workshops.
